Love Abiding

My head lie near a treasure placed deep in your soul
gifted to you, by angels
The moment finds solace in me for there is peace in the simple.

Lend me your freedom, may I share openly the passion of life
Lend me self love, as I would see the purity within mine own.

Where is this potion you drink of, seeing in me what I do not?
Forgive me for I am blind, my cloud has yet to part.

Content you watch lovingly, knowing more than I,
as if awaiting metamorphosis.

May my tucked wings emerge,
unfolding to the brilliance of blue and gold
an endless ray bouncing off the beauty of flight.

It is there I land gracefully next to you,
my treasure

To Jamie
Love Heather

Jamie...as you know I VERY RARELY write poetry, although there are times I feel compelled to share my feelings in the unconventional way. I hope my way of giving you this poem I had written because of your unconditional love, is appropriate to post with out the "Darger Poetry" stamp of approval from the owner. I know...get your own blog! haha
P.S. Don't even try to post something on MINE! j.k.
